Rob is the founder and Managing Director of Ashanti Capital. He is also the Investment Manager for the Ashanti Investment Fund.
Rob was previously the Managing Director in the ECM team for Reorient Financial Markets in Hong Kong, where he was based for 5 years between 2010-2015. Prior to moving to HK, Rob spent four years in Perth working for Macquarie Bank and Argonaut (Corporate Finance & Institutional Sales).
Ross brings 8 years of finance and business consultancy experience across different jurisdictions in Africa, the UK, and Australia. During this time, he has completed an MSc in Marketing with Distinction at Oxford Brookes (UK) and an MBA with High Distinction at Curtin University in Australia.
Ross has held numerous high-level positions in financial planning and business development. This has included assisting management teams with project expansion plans and implementation, and banking risk due diligence audits.
Most recent roles have included being an Executive Director for a boutique hedge fund in Australia and consulting for Investec Bank in Mauritius.
